Ömer Faruk Çelik, the founder and Chairman of EYG, has been involved in the business world for 45 years. After holding various positions in different sectors and companies between 1976 and 1988, he began his role in 1988 at Sinpaş Yapı Endüstrisi A.Ş., the real estate development and construction company of the Sinpaş Group, which operates in real estate development, industry, energy, and services.
Çelik led the team that successfully completed the best-performing public offering of 2007 while overseeing the establishment process of Sinpaş
Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. and conducting negotiations with domestic and international funds. He held the positions of CEO and Board Member during this period.
In addition to his long-standing roles in Finance, Marketing, and Sales at Sinpaş Holding, he also served as CEO and Deputy Chairman of the Holding for various industrial companies within the group, such as Seranit Ceramics, Prodek Furniture, and Yapımek Elevators, as well as for real estate companies like Servet Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı and SAF Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı.
In early 2014, Çelik established the EYG Group, bringing his companies together under its umbrella. Together with his team, he carried out the real estate development projects of Evvel İstanbul and Adım İstanbul in Istanbul's Başakşehir Kayabaşı, as well as the Narlı Bahçe Evleri project in Ümraniye, in partnership with Emlak Konut GYO and İntaya İntes. He also founded evdekifirsat.com, which introduced a new business model to the sector by offering ready-to-deliver, first-hand branded housing projects at advantageous prices and payment terms, merging real estate with e-commerce.
After the approval of the application made to the Capital Markets Board for the restructuring of EYG Yapı ve Yatırım A.Ş. into a Real Estate Investment Trust, he established EYG Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş.
Çelik served as the Founding Chairman of KONUTDER, the Association of Housing Developers and Investors, for six years and currently holds the title of Honorary Chairman.
Hakan Kaya, a Civil Engineer with a Master's degree from the Civil Engineering Department of Istanbul Technical University (ITU), has been active in the business world for 35 years. He has been responsible for "Land and Business Development, Project Development, Project and Construction Management, Marketing, Sales, and After-Sales Customer Relations" in numerous international large-scale construction and real estate projects, which have won various awards, for leading companies both domestically and internationally.
Beginning his career as a Site Engineer, he has served as a top-level professional manager in the construction and real estate sector, advancing to positions such as General Manager and Board Member. He has played an active role in the realization of thousands of qualified real estate projects at every level of management and continues to serve in his current role.
Born in Istanbul in 1994, Ezgi ÇELİK graduated from Özyeğin University's English Business Administration Department. Between 2014 and 2019, she worked in the advertising and marketing departments of EYG Group companies. In 2021, she founded Sultan Hill Tekstil and continues her professional career as a founding partner.
In 1991, he became a doctor, in 1993 an associate professor, and in 1998 a professor of communication. He worked for 35 years in both state and private universities, holding positions such as chairperson, director, and dean in various departments and faculties. He taught undergraduate, master's, and doctoral courses in advertising, public relations, communication research, advertising research, strategy, creativity, campaign management, and persuasion. He supervised numerous research projects and doctoral theses. In the private sector, he worked on projects and provided consultancy for many companies, brands, and NGOs. He retired in 2015 but continues to teach doctoral courses and conduct research projects with his students at Bahçeşehir University. He also continues to provide consultancy to businesses. In 2015, he founded AABİR Publishing and entered the publishing sector with brands such as The Kitap, The Roman, and The Çocuk. He is currently working on establishing the Institute of Communication and Business Sciences, which will offer advanced-level distance and in-person communication and business education and conduct research projects.
He was born in 1963 in Kayseri. After graduating from Erciyes University’s Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration in 1986, he briefly worked in the private sector before starting his role in the Foreign Exchange Department at the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey in 1987. In 1989, he served as an Assistant Specialist at the State Planning Organization (SPO) and became a Specialist in 1994. In 1995, he was sent abroad by the SPO for postgraduate studies. In 1997, he completed his postgraduate studies in Economics at the University of Delaware in the USA and returned to his duties at the State Planning Organization. In 2000, he was appointed Director at the General Secretariat of the Economic Cooperation Organization, based in Tehran, and returned to Turkey in early 2003. After briefly serving as Deputy Chairman of the Privatization Administration, he was appointed Chairman of the Privatization Administration. In 2009, he took on the role of Undersecretary of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources, retiring at the end of 2015.
Prof. Dr. İbrahim Ünalmış received his bachelor's degree from the Department of Economics at Middle East Technical University (ODTÜ). He earned his master's degree in Money, Banking, and Finance from the University of Birmingham and his PhD in Economics from the University of York. Between 2000 and 2018, he served as a director, economist, and specialist in the Markets and External Relations Departments of the Central Bank of the Republic of Turkey. During his PhD studies, he taught macroeconomics and finance in the UK and Ireland.
Since 2018, he has been serving as the Head of the Department of Business Administration at TED University. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of TEDUTECH and the Scientific Committee of the Applied Data Science Center at TED University.

EYG Yapı ve Yatırım A.Ş. applied to the Capital Markets Board (SPK) for Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) status on 02.01.2022, and upon approval on 11.08.2022, the company was officially registered as EYG Gayrimenkul Yatırım Ortaklığı A.Ş. in the Trade Registry.
